NRA Stamp by MetalShadowOverlord NRA Stamp by MetalShadowOverlord
While searching Deviant Art for some ideas, I noticed that there were absolutely no NRA stamps. Regardless of whether they were for or against it, there were no such stamps to be seen! Unless you can find one that was submitted before this one, here is the first ever NRA stamp to grace Deviant Art!

Protect the 2nd Amendment!

As someone who has worked a shooting range and knows a fair amount about guns, go ahead and listen if you want.
A lot of the gun laws you see that are being enacted are unconstitutional to the letter. While a strong case can be made that fully-automatic weapons shouldn't be in civilian hands because of the prospect of a mass shooting, I'll remind you all of a certain barrier that effects most of us: $$$
A decent gun of this model is around $4000 at the very least. That is just the cost of the gun itself, you also have to buy ammo, which isn't cheap. When you factor in maintenance, you begin to realize that a car, or a new computer is a better investment of your resources.
I could go on but you all get the point. Great stamp btw.

This falls upon the "Guns don't kill people, It's the one wielding it" Prospect, to those who say Firearms are the Killers, that means you are also saying that Kitchen Cutlery makes people Fat and Writing Tools misspell Words.

I am an Avid Supporter of the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution, and I will become an Outlaw if Firearms owned by Civilians is Outlawed, the 2nd Amendment is was made for a Reason, and those Tyrants in Washington D.C. are destroying it.

And praytell, why is it then that I can only have 7 rounds in a 10 round mag in my state and they passed a law overnight which made thousands of people criminals over cosmetic features on sporting and home defense guns?

We don't carry guns to compensate for ANYTHING, we carry them so that if somebody tries to hurt us, the people we love, or somebody near us, we can protect them.

What would YOU do if you were the victim of a home invasion or violent crime?

Never surrender
Never bow to the self-anointed
Never stop protecting your nation, your loved ones, and your lives
They tell us "you need to change your thinking!" or "you need to put away your guns!"
As long as we are armed, these will remain empty threats
Do not believe them when they shriek about dead children
They are the ones who force our schools to be vulnerable and unprotected
They our the ones who let monsters out of prisons and asylums
They are the ones who lay waste to our inner cities with socialism
Goddamn their common sense gun control to the most Tartarus lands of hell
The angrier they get, the more we'll know that we are winning
They are angry because it has occurred to them that we will not go...
We will not go to their gas chambers
We will not go to their gulags
We will not go to their farms
We will not go to their killing fields
We will own ourselves
We will prosper from the fruits of our labor
We will be free
We will stay armed

Stand and fight

I support this. The 2nd Amendment which is the right to bare arms, people can protect themselves with their guns against dangerous criminals. I'm against gun control law. Gun control law disarms people, and if a person is disarmed and being attacked by a dangerous criminal, that person is defenseless against the criminal.

I have no problem with gun ownership but I honestly can't see why a civillian should or needs to own an assault rifle or full blown automatic weaponry in general, that kind of gear belongs in the military and only in the military.

you do realize that the term assault rifle is based almost entirely on the appearance of the gun right?

I'm honestly borderline when it comes to guns. No, the police aren't there every second of everyday and they're only minutes away when seconds count. :/

Guns don't kill people, the person pulling the trigger does.
Owning guns is a huge responsibility, but some people go vigilante and use it for violence only.

So, I'm not too sure. Self defense yes, but people even skew that reasoning up.

Lawl i knew somehow you were going to have a stamp of those guys, i support their cause trough i have heard of even Gun lovers disliking them to be to extreme i can't judge since i never met anyone from the NRA trough i do believe it was very tasteless and insulting for them
to have a NRA meeting/rally right after a public shooting take place that's kind of rubbing it in like how Fred Phelps and his God hates fags group go to citties after a homosexual has been killed because of homophobia.

You do realize you basically just compared the NRA to a fringe hate-group full of religious nuts, right? i know you didn't mean to, but comparing Fred Phelps' sorry excuse for a Christian church is nowhere near comparable to the NRA.

Nah, i have seen left wingers who are crazy about the NRA to. You seem to be very political and American so it was kinda obvious you were either a: Like the NRA b: or just be for Gunrights.

I am not comparing them, all i am saying it's a bit tasteless when you offend the family and friends of those who lost their loved ones :)

Guns don't kill people but is isn't a real polite way to go to a town who suffered from a school shooting it's like they are more concerned with 'guns users being insulted' rather then showing respect for the family members and cancel the meeting. I mean even Marylin Manson canceled his tour out of his respect for the school shooting when he heard he was party blamed for it, doesn't mean it isn't true he kept making music but he canceled the tour out of respect of the victims.

"You seem to be very political and American"

Yeah, I'm very political and patriotic. Well, I try to be patriotic, at least. :3

"Guns don't kill people"

I'm glad you know that and don't buy into the "magic flying handgun" theory - People don't kill people, the handgun flies out of the owner's hand and magically discharges a bullet. XD

lawl i know and while America does seem to have a lot of gun violent crimes i think it might be because of something else since Canada has the same gun rights but they don't have nearly the level of gun violence.

Again the NRA shouldn't have go to citties or places where gun shooting took place even if it wasn't the fault of guns they should have respected the victim and those who knew them it was very tasteless and insulting for them not to cancel the meeting.

It's because we have back-ass-wards laws! If we were, I don't know, more strict about how we handle murderers and violent criminals, I think we'd have less gun crime.

Actually, I thought of something, what if they went there to talk about how guns weren't what killed people? After a shooting, people usually tend to think that gun control laws ought to be enforced, so if the NRA came down to talk about guns and even have gun safety courses, then it would make sense. I'm not sure what shooting you are referring to when they had their rally, but if they did what I said and tell people that it wasn't the "magic flying handgun"'s fault then it makes sense. Still, I do see where you are coming from.

umm i disagree the laws and prisons in America are a lot more brutal strict then in other countries ( 1 st world countries not comparing it to second or third world countries ) in a lot of countries in Europe they don't even have death pentatlies so no. If i am not mistaken the USA has the same gun rights/law as in Cannada

[link] yet they still have a long scary list of school shooting compared to Canada and other countries with the same gun rights or access to weapons. It might be because of the culture i am not sure its hard to find out why some day its because of American history but a lot of other countries have far more brutal and bloody histories then the USA.

From what i understand it was just a rally/meeting between other NRA members nothing of education and sort i think the leader of the NRA also publicly made fun of the mayor who requested him not to come that was kinda rude to and not to mention if you check you find out several other gun fan clubs and gun rights organizations have criticize the NRA for this :)

Coming from a part of the country where hunting is a big deal, I have no problem with deer rifles and shotguns. But even my brother Jacob, a gun lover and self described conservative, says that the NRA is too extreme. As for me, I just can't respect a group that believes a ban on assault rifles is overreaching. Or that shows up in communities after a shooting occurs in their school to hold a rally, like tehy did in Littleton, Colorado. I mean, that's just insensitive.

On another note, Charlton Heston was a pretty good actor.
