A little something for :iconojcartoons:'s Character Design Contest: [link]

I based this on two images and kind of combined the two.

I'm actually starting to regret using dark yellow for the designs on the gown...

Not bad. I'm assuming you're still using MS Paint; have you ever heard of a program called GIMP? It's kind of like Photoshop, except it's free and open source. I use it sometimes, and it can really be used to make your drawin pop, if you know how to use it. Anyway, good luck with future art projects!

Paint? Not at all. I'm actually using Photoshop, but, once I get my new laptop, I'll be giving SAI a try, since I hear it can really help with line art. I could still give GIMP a try though. It's not like I'm being prevented from using multiple utilities for my drawings. XD

"It's not like I'm being prevented from using multiple utilities for my drawings. XD" That's how I feel. Personally I used to draw my comics with Paint Shop Pro 9, but then I discovered how awesome Manga Studio was for drawing, and so now I'm using it to draw with and PSP to finish the pages. I also use GIMP to add effects like Lens Flare, and I plan on using it for fractals too.
